Frederic Campagnac is the founder and CEO of CLEVY LINKS, a digital and physical operator of cross-border e-commerce delivery solutions linking China with Europe/CIS. CLEVY LINKS is on a trend to deliver 20 million parcels in 2017.
Campagnac,44, has extensive experience in international trade, transport & logistics and government relations with a personal curiosity for technics and innovation. Before turning to the digital world and starting CLEVY LINKS four years ago, he had developed a significant consulting activity in those fields.
Campagnac is a former representative of CMA CGM in China (the third largest container shipping line in the world and in China), for which he conducted several large investments in rail and port sector. He was then also Board Director of China Rail Intermodal (CRI, a Joint Venture with the Ministry of Railways to build and operate China’s 18 largest intermodal terminals), and Chairman of the European Chamber Maritime Working Group. A former high-ranking civil servant, Campagnac started his career with the French Ministry of Transport for which, among others, he supported the early developments of AIRBUS in China and successfully conducted the earliest cooperation with China on high-speed rail.
Campagnac’s academic background covers management, economics, engineering and Chinese civilization degrees obtained in prestigious French schools (ENPC, TOULOUSE1 UNIVERSITY, ENAC and INALCO).
Campagnac’s first position in China was in 1995 when he followed trade issues for the French Embassy. Since then he has shared his time mainly between China and Europe. He is fluent in Chinese.
Permanent resident in China since 2006, Campagnac has been a Foreign Trade Advisor for the French Government since 2007, and Chair of the EU Chamber Logistics Working Group South China chapter starting last year.
