Esme joined Fung Global Retail Technology in July 2016 as Head of Asia Research and is responsible for developing and implementing the think tank’s regional strategy. Her vision is to assist multinational retailers to succeed in the face of technological disruptors, by providing opportunities for understanding the rapidly changing retail landscape. Her research interests are omni-channel, e-commerce, consumer trends and the various ways that technology intersects with retail.
Esme’s background is in investment banking, with experience in equity research, hedge fund and private equity. Esme holds a law degree and master’s degree in international business.
